It can be as simple as spraying Lime -A -Way onto it and letting it lie for 10 minutes before wiping it with a clean cloth and turning the shower to rinse. If you clean the bronze shower head regularly, that should not be a problem. CLR is another considered commercial product you can usually find at the local grocery store. If the shower nozzle is showing no signs of being clogged and working well, it may be that easy.
For a more natural and cheaper approach, vinegar is excellent for helping to remove lime. Vinegar is slightly sour and perfect for the job. Just pour some into a spray bottle and feed the design shower head with it. In about 10 minutes you can rinse it off and it will look as new as new.
